Linda Moran – Instructor

Linda Moran has been practicing yoga for 17 years and teaching for 8. She received her 200 hour certification in Raja Ashtanga Yoga from Focal Point Yoga in Stowe, MA. Her style combines elements of Kripalu, Iyengar, and Ashtanga yoga. These yoga styles are combined with exercise physiology and her physical therapy knowledge of the body and how it works. Her 29 years as a physical therapist helps her to be very aware of safety to prevent injuries as well how not to re-injure one who is coming back from an injury. Linda will strive to challenge each student in a compassionate way. There is a strong mindfulness aspect to the practice encouraging each participant to be aware of their body and breath throughout the class. The goal being to connect the body mind and spirit as well as to have fun. She initially used yoga to help manage a chronic back problem and fell in love with the practice in it’s entirety. She continues to manage her back dysfunction with a regular yoga practice and periodic craniosacral treatments. Linda has stepped in carry on BromYoga in Lowell after Jon Brandi’s relocation to California. In addition to teaching yoga, Linda maintains a private physical therapy practice which combines traditional orthopedic and sports physical therapy with more holistic integrated manual therapy techniques and yoga.
